Romano Gold Project
Targeting large scale gold mineralisation in frontier terrains of the Western Australian goldfields
Dundas Minerals has acquired the Romano Gold Project, a district-scale gold exploration package located in the north eastern Goldfields of Western Australia. The Romano Project comprises approximately 800 km² of under explored frontier terrain on the eastern margin of the Yamarna Shear Zone and is located adjacent to the operating Gruyere gold mine.
Key Facts
Romano at a glance
The Romano Gold Project materially expands Dundas Minerals’ exploration footprint into a proven but under explored gold province. The project provides exposure to multiple priority gold targets supported by historical drilling and geochemical datasets.
Priority target areas identified to date include:
Growth Centres
Romano – the next major discoveries are likely to continue in the frontier terrains (Hemi, Nova, Gruyere)
The new Romano Project has several high priority exploration targets, including:
Targeting large scale gold mineralisation in frontier terrains of the WA goldfields
Kalgoorlie – Blue chip terrain with supportive infrastructure and proven gold results
Kalgoorlie Project
The Kalgoorlie Project portfolio comprises three advanced gold assets located in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, within a well-endowed structural corridor and in proximity to established mining infrastructure and multiple operating processing facilities. The assets include the Capricorn and Baden-Powell gold resources and the Rockland gold discovery, each of which hosts shallow, open-ended mineralisation and remains largely unmined. Together, these projects provide exposure to near-surface oxide and deeper primary gold systems with potential for resource growth and development pathways supported by granted mining tenure, highway access, and nearby mills.

Gerry Well Gold Project
The Gerry Well Gold Project covers a 612 km² tenement package within the northern Gerry Well Greenstone Belt of the Yilgarn Craton, an under-explored Archean terrane located north of the Garden Well mine and east of the Jundee operation. The project is characterised by limited historical gold-focused exploration, recent Geological Survey of Western Australia reinterpretation identifying Sanukitoid rocks associated with major gold systems, and independent AI-driven targeting that has defined multiple large-scale, high-priority structural corridors. Historical drilling has confirmed gold mineralisation, and the project has received Western Australian Government Exploration Incentive Scheme co-funding to support drilling programs.
